General Membership Agreement
- My membership in ŻAK implies membership in AKM;
- I understand that ŻAK is a Catholic youth organisation, and that it aims at helping me grow in the Christian values and further enabling me to live these values in my everyday life;
- As a member of ŻAK I give my commitment to participate in weekly meetings together with a group of young people, where I will do my best to collaborate, build friendships and participate in the group-life, together with my group-mates and leaders;
- The weekly meetings are held on the day and at the time communicated to me and my parents/guardians by the group’s leaders, and that these can change from time to time, upon written notice by the leaders;
- Unless communication in writing is issued by the leaders, weekly meetings are held even during school, public or national holidays, except for Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter weekend;
- Under 18 specific agreements
- For any other activity, including the activities that are held in the same venue where the weekly meetings are held, I understand that a signed written consent is required consent from my parents/guardians;
- Over 18 specific agreements
- Weekly meetings refer to meetings held every week, on a regular basis, normally held at an agreed time, on the same day of every week;
- Activity/activities refer to any other activity held by the group or for which the group participates, besides the weekly meetings.
- Youth Leader refers to a person who is entrusted and endorsed by AKM and ŻAK to perform youth work. This term is being used as a general term and refers to those people who are either directly responsible for a youth group or who are assisting the work with a youth group. The term includes qualified youth workers and youth ministers, people who have undergone or are undergoing training in the youth field and other people that AKM and ŻAK deem fit to entrust for rendering services with a youth group.
- Legislation refers to the ‘General Decree on the Protection of Data (2018)’ (GDPD), to the General Regulation on the Protection of Data (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and any other legislation or regulation in due force.
