\u017bg\u0127a\u017cag\u0127 Azzjoni Kattolika (\u017bAK) is a youth group in Malta, that forms part of the Maltese Catholic Action branch. \u017bAK’s fundamental purpose is to provide programs of\u00a0spiritual<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0social<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0personal<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0development. Our aim is to affirm an individual in their proper identity and involve them in relationships with God and others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u017bAK focuses on working with young people aged 10 years onwards and is a voluntary-based, non-profit organisation. Currently, there are approximately 200 members in 8 different parishes involved.<\/p>

\u017bAK gives utmost importance to the active involvement of its members. Each group’s leaders’ responsibility is to ensure that the material covered meets the needs of the members in that group.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Members from every parish belong to a different youth group according to their age. Each \u017bAK group has a regular weekly meeting. The members under the direction of their youth leaders\/youth workers, utilise the allocated time to not only socialise, but also to develop and experience life skills.<\/p>\n

All this is achieved through structured and unstructured sessions which may take the form of discussions, hands-on activities, reflections and games, amongst others.<\/p>\n

Besides weekly meetings, every group organises its own activities. These activities vary from social events, community work, fundraising activities, live-ins, international exchanges etc. In addition to these activities, members participate in activities organised by other \u017bAK groups, by \u017bAK on a national and international basis, by A\u0121enzija \u017bg\u0127a\u017cag\u0127<\/span><\/a>, the National Youth Council<\/a><\/span> and by the Maltese Diocese<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
