{"id":1592,"date":"2024-10-18T22:49:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-18T21:49:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zakmalta.org\/?page_id=1592"},"modified":"2024-10-18T23:30:11","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T22:30:11","slug":"leadership-agreement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/zakmalta.org\/mt\/leadership-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"Leadership Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"1592\" class=\"elementor elementor-1592\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a557ccb e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-column-slider-no wpr-equal-height-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"a557ccb\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-965cc85 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"965cc85\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Leader and Co-Leader Agreement<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>A Youth Leader is a person who has undergone a minimum amount of training in youth work and\/or is receiving such training;<\/li><li>The minimum amount of training for a person to become a Co-Youth Leader is determined by \u017bAK from time to time;<\/li><li>\u017bAK and\/or AKM reserves the right to demand that a Youth Leader has specific training, demand further training and\/or re-training in order for a person to be able to be confirmed in the role;<\/li><li>A Youth Leader has the responsibilities and rights given to her\/him by the Laws of Malta, the general statute of the AKM (<em>Statut \u0120enerali tal-Azzjoni Kattolika Maltija<\/em>), the statute of \u017bAK (<em>Statut ta\u017c-\u017bg\u0127a\u017cag\u0127 Azzjoni Kattolika<\/em>), the code of ethics of \u017bAK (<em>Kodi\u010bi ta\u2019 Etika g\u0127al \u0126idma fi\u017c-\u017bAK<\/em>) and the Manual of Procedures of \u017bAK, and any policy document that \u017bAK\/AKM adopt for the service rendered within the organisation from time to time<\/li><li>A Youth Leader who follows the Laws, Rules and procedures mentioned above is covered by \u017bAK\u2019s and AKM\u2019s insurance, unless otherwise declared by the Courts of Justice or competent civil authorities;<\/li><li>The service offered by a Youth Leader is on voluntary basis, unless otherwise agreed by \u017bAK and AKM;<\/li><li>A person is recognized and authorized as a Youth Leader with \u017bAK by means of a mandate issued by the AKM, according to an internal rules and procedures;<\/li><li>A mandate can be issued as valid for up to three years, at the discretion of \u017bAK and AKM, and is renewable for an indefinite amount of years, upon request from the person;<\/li><li>The appointment and confirmation of a person in the role of a Youth Leader is guided by an internal AKM policy that regulates such roles;<\/li><li>The appointment and or confirmation of a person in the role of a Youth Leader is at the discretion of \u017bAK and AKM;<\/li><li>A person who is not confirmed in the role, cannot keep on having direct contact with a youth group in \u017bAK and\/or AKM;<\/li><li>\u017bAK and AKM reserve the right to do all the necessary checks, permitted by the Laws of Malta, to ensure that the person being considered for the role of Co-Youth Leader is fit to work with minors and\/or vulnerable persons;<\/li><li>\u017bAK and AKM reserve the right to report any misconduct in relation to the youth group one is working with or to individual young people, to competent authorities, including the Church hierarchy.
